Day 19-20 Hondillas- Los Templarios- El Burgo- 365km left

Again sorry for not posting yesterday, didn´t have internet, had to search to find this computer also. So what happened these last few days? Well let me tell you.
Yesterday was LOOOOONNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!! like really long. It was 27km and 17 of that was in the middle of no where with no places to stop, just hot flat ground. After hiking for 7km there was a bar in the middle of no where, but after that, nothing. Dad and I were both done, it felt like we wouldn´t be able to go on. We stayed in a nice little albequerque, with comfy beds, and good supper and such. Watched Tour de France at 5, but first the ladies had to watch their Spanish Soap Operas. I beat dad at Crazy eights yesterday, score is 7-3.
Today we got up at 5:15am, yes, really early. We were making today longer so tomorrow would be shorter. Today was 28km, but there were alot of little towns along the way, so it was nice. It was about 34 degrees in the sun today, really hot while walking. But once we got here, we found an albequerque, but the thing is, the one we are staying in is not the one that we wanted to stay in, it isn´t as nice. all we have to cooking is a microwave, so we are having good ol´hot dogs tonight. Tomorrow is only a 18km hike, and then the day after that we are going to take the bus into Leon. I know you are saying, well that is cheating, but if you want to walk right beside a main highway, and into the slums and stuff like that, we don´t really want to do that, and it is actually suggested in our book to take the bus, so that is what we are going to do. Then we are going to take a break in LEon, and look around and stuff, and the day after we are going to hike around 10km. But anyways, that is all that is really knew, we just met an Americain who is living in Greece, and has camped in the Sahara, and stuff like that, she is really interesting. Last night we had dinner with two Germans, a Korean and an Americain. It was fun. I shall hopefully write again tomorrow. Thanks for the comments.
The Number behind is getting bigger than the number in front!!!!!!!!!
Ps, thanks eilko for finding out the prices for the shirt, would that be the dutch jersey, or just a shirt.!!
Bye bye
So now I am grumpy! checked into the wrong albergue of all things. and this is such a neat place, completely made of adobe, a clay and straw mixture. Oh well, its hotdogs int hte microwave tonight. at least we have ketchup and cheese slices and real hotdigs buns. I was a bit worried about getting stuff for tomorrwo, because on Saturday the town basically shuts down, but I found a little corner store, so we have dinner, breakfast and lunch.
And now I am cheered up because I have figured otu how to make a call to Canada, so were going tpo try that tonight.
The hik ewas hot, not too exciting, but at least there were a few towns in between, which made it seem a bit shorter. Leg feels good, I am not too tired and tomorrow will be only 19 km, so a short one. were both looking forward to a day of in Leon. Till tomorrow.

Funny...are the cheese slices Kraft?! (how else would you get Jakob to eat them!) Taking the bus is not really cheating. I mean walking through the slums..yuck not really something I would like either. Have a great weekend. We'll miss you lots this weekend, Peyton is getting baptised. Wish you were here for that! But at the rate she is growing, if we wait till your home, she won't fit into the gown! We'll post pictures soon! (Comments appreciated!)
So we expect to hear you over on this side of the world singing...."the wheels on the bus go round and round...the tourists on the bus say oo-la-la..."
Love ya and miss you tons!
